Beauty of Water's Waves
The air is salty and wet
The water as sharp as a knife
Sometimes I wonder how we can forget
The factor that keeps all alive
The water is dancing merrily
So calm, so happy
Next to the shore it lies
Swaying in its disguise
The waves flow to the shore
Then waltz back out into the free
The sand is like a door
The water can't come in, you see
The water is all around us
Even in our eyes as tears
But the true beauty of water you'll see
Is when it's out in the free
Life will rearrange
People will be in their graves
But one thing will never change
The beauty of the water's waves
